Sensory analysis is both a very lively and competitive field as can testify congresses such as Pangborn or Sensometrics. Consequently, users or practitioners can be disconcerted with the increasing number of methods at their disposal. Our reflection consists in participating at the creation of new methodologies as well as proposing syntheses of standard methods, compromise solutions between numerous indices and easy implementation. This reflection took shape in the form of a package of functions, the SensoMineR package.
