# PHISYM

An algebraic program for the states associated with the U(5)⊃O(5)⊃O(3) chain of groups. A REDUCE program is presented that calculates algebraically the γ- dependent part of the states associated with the U(5)⊃O(5)⊃O(3) chain of groups, familiar from nuclear-structure problems. The method of solution is a direct implementation of the analytic expressions given by Chacón and Moshinsky.
