A technique implemented in the VOLNA code package to simulate the flow of natural gas in pipelines. The explicit based on Lagrange-Euler equations method of nonstationary gas flows analysis is used for a natural gas pipeline flows simulation in programm complex ”Volna”. Test calculations demonstrated that the programm complex is of a second order of convergency in relation to space variables and it has a sufficient level of accuracy.
