Developing a numerical library Maja in Java. Nowadays Java is beginning to affect the mathematical computing world. Java can be the common platform in the future and there is increasing attention to develop suitable numerical libraries for adopting of Java in this field. In our paper we present a complex linear algebra package developed in Java and written for basic matrix manipulation, LUP-decomposition and random number generation. Tests and comparisings with other existing Java packages are also considered. Our work is based on Jama package of MatWorks Inc. and NIST.
