Parallel implementation of seismic modeling algorithms on Param OpenFrame We use the MacCormack finite difference algorithm to solve acoustic and elastic wave equations. The parallel implementation is done on Param OpenFrame which offers distributed computing environment. The algorithm is implemented using a parallel programming environment PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine).
