GROOME -- Tool supported graphical object oriented modelling for computer algebra and scientific computing This paper is devoted to object oriented modeling for computer algebra and scientific computing. The tool called GROOME is presented. GROOME supports object oriented problem decomposition on the basis of graphical description techniques. Such intuitive graphical description techniques are in our opinion the best medium to present the complex numerical models and methods as well as a hierarchy of them as well as relationships among them. The meaning or semantics of graphical description documents in GROOME can be completed with symbolic equations and Maple commands. Such documents can be linked together automatically and executable Maple code can be obtained.
