GRADE: A graphical programming environment for multicomputers. The design and implementation of an integrated environment GRADE is described. GRADE offers the programmer an integrated graphical user interface during the whole life-cycle of program development and provides high-level graphical programming abstraction mechanisms to construct parallel applications. Currently two activities run in order to include a formal specification language and on-line monitoring support into GRADE, respectively.
