QDES is a linear control system design specification compiler and solver, originally released in 1988. Package contains binaries for machines and operating systems that no longer exist, a bunch of Matlab scripts, and some interesting notes. It’s here only for the historical record. The book ”Linear Controller Design: Limits of Performance”, by Boyd and Barratt, Prentice-Hall 1991, ISBN 0-13-538687-X describes the theory behind QDES.
