PVMaple
Solving initial value problems with parallel Maple processes The recently developed PVMaple (Parallel Virtual Maple) provides a message-passing programming environment to solve complex problems, like large systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs), on network of workstations. The computing facilities proposed by PVMaple are briefly presented. Numerical tests concerning the approximate solutions of some particular ODEs are reported and discussed.
