FEPACS1 - a finite element program for nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete framed structures. This paper presents a computer program FEPACS1 for nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete framed structures. A finite element formulation for reinforcement in any orientation in computing the element stiffness is explained. A brief description of material properties used and the nonlinear finite element formulation to account for the material and other nonlinearities due to cracking and yielding is given. The computer program FEPACS1 is explained with the aid of a Flow Chart and the computational steps involved in the program are described in detail. The application of the program is illustrated by selected examples.
