Visual PDEQSOL: A visual and interactive environment for numerical simulation. A visual and interactive numerical simulation environment for physical phenomena is presented here. Users can easily construct, execute and verify the simulation program through the window interface of the workstation. This system guides users to specify and execute simulation correctly. The paper mainly describe the model construction part of the system, especially stressing on the guidance function for constructing the numerical algorithm.
