Design of an iterative solution module for a parallel sparse matrix library (P-SPARSLIP). The authors develop a portable FORTRAN routine for sparse matrix computation. It emphasizes iterative techniques but it is not a parallel iterative package and uses reverse communication mechanism. Finally examples of the use of iterative solvers on different types of machines are presented to demonstrate the portability and flexibility of the routines. It is an excellent paper.
