Symmetry package for maple. This is a Maple package which can be used as a tool in equivariant dynamical systems. The questions centered around the generic equivariant vector field are considered. Both finite groups and continuous groups are supported. The topics are: Molien series for invariant ring and module of equivariants; completeness of invariant ring or module of equivariants; fundamental invariants for finite groups by Sturmfels algorithm; fundamental equivariants for finite groups; fundamental invariants and equivariants for continuous groups; invariants for torus group action; orbit space reduction; build-in knowledge of finite groups and compact Lie groups; algebraic groups; Derksen’s algorithm for computation of invariants of algebraic groups.
