This paper deals with description of Java-based data visualization system DAVIS. The authors select Java language because it is platform-free, object oriented and since the compiler is available freely on the Internet. DAVIS has been implemented to make the most of visualization techniques together with newly developed statistical graphics like: flipped empirical distribution function, parallel coordinates, Dendrogram, scatterplot matrix, Grand Touring and Tracking Grand Tour. The visualization tools for DAVIS and implementation of these tools in DAVIS are described.
