CFX-TASCflow is a CAD-oriented software tool for fluid flow analysis and design optimization for mechanical engineering applications. FX-TASCflow is a CAD-oriented software tool for fluid flow analysis and design optimization for mechanical engineering applications. Built into CFX-TASCflow is a generalized grid interface to connect completely dissimilar, non-matching grids, regardless of how they were created and multiple frames of reference to model flows with rotor/stator interactions. CFX-TASCflow has a unique coupled, algebraic multigrid solver that provides greater robustness and reliability. It includes facilities such as surface-to-surface radiation, advanced models for gaseous combustion, reacting particle tracking, fire simulation, and special fluids analyses for wet steam and refrigerants.
