ERD: a fast and reliable tool for RNA design including constraints. Evolutionary RNA Designer. The function of an RNA is highly dependent on its three-dimensional conformation which is referred to as RNA tertiary structure. Since the prediction or experimental determination of these structures is very difficult, so many works focus on the problems associated with the RNA secondary structure. This web server uses the, ERD program, to design sequences that fold into a given target RNA secondary structure, i.e. whose minimum free energy (MFE) structure is the target structure.
