The conception and characteristics of data Link 16 and its developing trend are introduced. According to the characteristics of data Link 16 network, a data Link 16 TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) network is designed. Based on the powerful network simulator OPNET, the data Link 16 TDMA network is modeled and simutated. Meanwhile, the TDMA module which is the most important part in modelmg and simulation is analysed by means of a finite state machine
