BILUTM: A domain-based multilevel block ILUT preconditioner for general sparse matrices The purpose of this paper is to give an overview and background on multigrid preconditioning techniques. This preconditioner combines a high accuracy in complete LU factorization with an algebraic multilevel recursive reduction. This is implemented which is shown to be efficient and illustrated by a number of experiments.
